Hm. “About me” stuff is not easy for me to write. I’m usually a WYSIWYG kind of gal…. But, here goes:
Born in the U.S. a good while ago. Single, with one dependent (my dog – who just celebrated his 4th birthday!!). Living one day at a time, working too much, but for whatever reason I decided to write a blog. It started as just one more place to take a breather between projects at work, so I could actually use my brain for something reasonably important, and now, well, it’s still pretty much the same thing.
I don’t write for profit but for fun and for the chance to possibly connect with life outside the practice of law. There is a site meter down there somewhere, but I don’t know what to do with it. I don’t care how many “hits” I get, or how much “blog traffic” or any of those other things. I like people (most of them, anyway), and I like meeting new ones and chatting. I don’t get upset or huffy with people who don’t follow “the rules” when it comes to blogs, but I also don’t follow them much myself, either.
I talk about my dog, my family, work, assorted stuff that gets stuck in my head, diets, not dieting, exercising, not exercising, TV, the past, my dog…. I will complain, I will wax theological, and I will write what I think. If you don’t agree with me, I will probably not mind as long as you are articulate and reasonable about why – if I don’t think you make sense and I like you, I probably will let it go. If I don’t think you make sense and I think it might help to tell you, I probably will tell you.
Welcome to my brain. Take your shoes off, make yourself comfortable, and I’ll see you when I get back.

Your blog is interesting!
Keep up the good work!
This is just a quote I found that I do not want to lose track of:
“The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.” -Albert Einstein
