I have a tired old lunch bag that is in need of repair.
I’m trying to think of something clever and cute (and more durable) that will replace it, and all I’ve come up with so far is a denim version of the same thing, which wouldn’t be too bad, but it would require actual sewing.
I have some old jean material that would work well. I will try it and see what I come up with. If it works, I will post pictures. [I might post pictures even if it doesn't work - cautionary tales are as useful as success stories!

I’m slightly addicted to Thirty-One products right now. I just ordered the cutest lunch bag for me (monogrammed) and the coolest lunch bag for my daughter with her name on it.
http://www.thirtyonegifts.com/images/catalog.pdf – see pages 13, 17, 26 (the one I got my daughter), and page 30 (the one I got).
Disclaimer – I don’t sell or host these parties. I’m just a satisfied customer
This gives me an idea for something to make for my kids. They need new lunch bags. I wonder if they might like it if I made some. I know the littlest one would. Maybe the big ones might think that’s ‘uncool’, though. Hmmm…
Enola: I checked the catalog – they have some really cute ideas! I’m going to check back for Christmas gifts, as three of my nieces have weirdly spelled names, and buying personalized things for them is almost impossible. These would be cute! Thanks!
Lynn: Let me know how it goes. I checked my fabric stash, and I actually have jean material in 2 different colors (dark and really faded), so I might do something two-tone….
