Today being National Pity Party Day, courtesy of Enola, I was going to put my most pitiful problems out here to see if I can just get rid of the darned things! However, since my parents arrived yesterday, I’m not feeling the least bit pitiful. Nevertheless, here is what I came up with.
Work-wise, things are not happy [...]

Bachelor

I saw the first episode of “The Bachelor” last night. It’s not something I usually watch, but there wasn’t anything else on, and I was too tired to move off the couch. Plus, after how many years of this show, I was a little curious.
Yipe-ety-yipe-yipe. The guy (TB, for The Bachelor) seems nice enough. The [...]

Weekend went well – Tanner had a good time at the kennel, but he was glad to come home. The retreat went well, too. I’ll write more about that when I have more time.
For now, the big bedroom has been cleaned and dusted. The window needs to be cleaned, but I’m going to do that [...]

OK, I’m a pretty … indiscriminate reader as to some things. I will sometimes read just about anything – cereal boxes included – just to have something to read.
But I was listening to WJR the other day, and I heard an interview with a local judge, before whom I have appeared and argued (successfully, I [...]
I Swear

Well, the plans are ready. The forms are completed, the signatures have been affixed – all that is left is for me to send $100 and the packet of stuff to the law school, and I’m registered for the swearing-in ceremony before the U.S. Supreme Court.
I talked to my parents and my sister [...]

Bills paid: check
Dishes done: check
Dusting: check
Tanner bath/haircut: check
Breakfast: check
Hm. That’s pretty sad if those are the only things I can check off my “to-do” list….. I just thought it might be more encouraging if I listed the things I HAD done instead of the things still remaining to be done.
Like laundry and the bathrooms. And [...]
How Would You Like Your Spam?
Posted in Uncategorized on September 18, 2007 | 2 Comments »
Usually the spam I get is for a variety of pills or the latest stock nightmare. Lately, though, I’ve been getting things that look like this:
“Hello! I am bored today. I am nice girl that would like to chat with you. Email me at [weird email address], because I am writing not from my personal email. If [...]
Sick Day

In this case, it wasn’t my “tummeh” but my chest. Chest pain sucks.
Cure: take 2 iron pills/day for one week, then 1 iron pill/day for 3 weeks.
Tanner was very glad Mama stayed home yesterday, though.

The Case of the Missing Blogroll

In case you’re wondering what happened to the link list usually found on the right side of my blog, it turns out:
“There are widespread problems being worked on by staff right now. Perhaps these problems are effecting your blogs.”
So, if you can’t find yourself (or someone else) here, they’re working on it. I didn’t just delete you. [...]
